Welcome to our section of the
website. We are the people who look over all the requests for painting, roofing,
landscaping, patio extensions, fences, driveways, and other changes that we, Whittier Oaks
Homeowners, want to do to help beautify our properties and protect our values.
Please take the time to look at page
36, Exhibit C of our Whittier Oaks Docs,
which can be found on this website. Page 36 has the initial rules and
regulations of our ACB and simply states that each and every homeowner MUST ACQUIRE
APPROVAL BEFORE BEGINNING WORK ON ANY ADDITION, MODIFICATION, OR IMPROVEMENT TO THEIR
LANDSCAPING OR TO THE EXTERIOR OF THEIR HOME.
Following is the process we
recommend in submitting your ACB Form: Fill in all blanks on the form, include any
relevant drawings, plans, land surveys, photos and/or paint chips. This will accelerate
the process. After your submittal has been reviewed and a decision made, IPM will inform
you of the decision in writing.
We recommend that you do not begin
any improvement, modification or change to your property without first submitting your
plans to the ACB for approval. Please note that the ACB has the authority, as stated in
the Docs, to require a homeowner to remove a renovation that is
not compliant with its review process and the governing documents. Dont let this
happen to you.
If you have a question about a
particular project, kindly call Residential
Management Concepts, Inc. at 954.426.0151, email them at rmerkler@rmcflorida.com or simply check our ACB Manual.
